“For The Love of Type” is a creative collaboration among students in Art 338: Typography II at California Polytechnic State University. The book celebrates typography, its history, and the unique applications of a given typeface. Each student contributed a set of meticulously designed pages to be compiled into a larger volume, but the photos here represent my contributions. I chose to research James Edmondson’s font: “OHno Casual” for it’s rule-breaking boldness. Thematically, my book’s design aims to highlight the intersection of typography with technology and the ways it informs human psychology.
